Actor Karthi marriage to take place on July 3!

Actor Karthi Sivakumar, the most eligible bachelor in Kollywood, is all set to tie the knot on July 3, 2011.

The dashing actor, who preferred an arrange marriage, said that he is happy to get married to Ranjani, a gold medallist in MA (English Literature) from leading Chennai college Stella Maris.

While Karthi's brother Surya married his long-time girlfriend, actor Jyotika, the Paruthiveeran star has been clear that he'd only apt for a woman chosen by his parents.

Recently, Malayalam filmstar Prithviraj got married to BBC journalist Supriya Menon in a hush-hush ceremony much to the dismay of his women fans.

Then I started acting in commercial films like Thennavattu, Katcheri Arambam and Singam Puli. These films were respectful hits. Young actors have started sharing the screens with one and another. I expected this. It was there earlier in Tamil cinema. Now and then we forget this. Now it is back. I think the reason for this is that all the actors are good friends. I think this is a good thing for Tamil cinema. Audiences are also expecting this. I am also friendly with all the actors.
